Controller Exams Visit Ensures Transparency in Marking and Labs

Rawalpindi: The Controller of Examinations at the Rawalpindi Education Board, Tameer Asghar Awan, recently conducted a comprehensive visit to various practical labs and marking centers involved in the Intermediate First Annual 2025 examinations. The inspection aimed to ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and to uphold transparency and merit throughout the examination process.
During the visit, Mr. Awan inspected centers at Government High School No. 1 Chakwal, Government Girls High School and Government Graduate College Chakwal. He also evaluated marking centers and practical laboratories at Government Associate College for Women on Zafar-ul-Haq Road, Rawalpindi. These inspections were part of the Board’s ongoing efforts to monitor the examination environment closely and to guarantee a fair evaluation process.
The Controller emphasized the Board’s unwavering commitment to merit and transparency, assuring that no compromises would be made in the marking process. He reiterated that complete adherence to SOPs is being maintained to ensure that students’ academic futures are safeguarded and that justice is served in the evaluation process.
Furthermore, Mr. Awan directed the examination staff to perform their duties with honesty, transparency, and professionalism. He urged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity in conducting and overseeing the examination stages, reinforcing the Board’s resolve to deliver a fair and corruption-free assessment system.
