KARACHI: Pakistan Army and Pakistan Police began their campaign on a winning note as the National Inter-Department Netball Championship 2026 got under way at the PSB Coaching Centre, Karachi.
The championship is being organised under the auspices of the Pakistan Netball Federation and the Sindh Netball Association.
In the opening match, Pakistan Army defeated Pakistan Navy by 19 goals to 13. The second match was played between Pakistan Police and PNF Elite Academy, with Pakistan Police securing a 28-25 victory.
Saeed Ahmed Arain, Deputy Secretary Sports, Sindh Police, was the chief guest at the opening ceremony and was introduced to the players. Muhammad Riaz, Secretary Pakistan Netball Federation, and other guests were also present on the occasion.
The next matches will be played between Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Police, while Pakistan Army will face PNF Elite Academy.
