**Livestock Secretary Visits Rawalpindi Complex, Lauds Modern Veterinary Clinic**

The Secretary of Livestock visited the Livestock Complex in Rawalpindi, where he received a detailed briefing on ongoing development projects, field operations, and the Livestock Card Program in the Rawalpindi Division. During the visit, officials highlighted that Rawalpindi leads the Punjab province in terms of recovery performance in the livestock sector.

Director of Livestock for Rawalpindi Division, Dr. Naveed Sehar Zaidi, presented updates about the progress of several development initiatives and the effectiveness of field activities. The briefing also covered the implementation and benefits of the Livestock Card Program aimed at supporting local livestock farmers.

The Secretary also toured a modern pet clinic established in collaboration with Turkey. Dr. Madaha Tariq, the clinic’s in-charge, provided an overview of the diagnostic, surgical, and other specialized veterinary services available at the facility. The Secretary observed a live demonstration of an ultrasound procedure performed on an animal, expressing satisfaction with the clinic’s capabilities and commending its services.

The visit concluded with the Secretary appreciating ongoing efforts to improve livestock welfare and expressing support for further advancements in veterinary care and field operations across the division.
