Sardar Shazib Shabbir Khan is highly educated, experienced and has a personality full of sincerity, tolerance and compassion and is the light of a very big business family. He obtained degrees in Business Administration and History from the United States and held many important business responsibilities in the United States until 2016 and was brought up with business and social awareness. His father, Sardar Shabbir Khan, has a business that extends to Pakistan, Azad Kashmir and abroad, which The responsibility of Sardar Shazib Shabbir khan is on his head and he has undoubtedly been handling it with great success for many years. Now he has also been entrusted with the important responsibility of the President of the Sadhan Educational Conference, which is not only a responsibility but also many expectations of the entire state and the tribe have become attached to him.
The history of this great organization, which came into existence ninety-one years ago, spans a great era and eight decades. Its founder, the late Colonel Khan Muhammad Khan, the pioneer of modern Poonch, its foundation during the Dogra era, when the tribes of the state were far from the wrath of oppression and lawlessness. The leaders of other tribes united and unanimously named the organization Sudhan Educational Conference after the Sudhan tribe because apart from the Sudhan tribe, the other tribes were afraid of confronting the oppression of the Dogra Raj. Therefore, with the suggestion and approval of the then leading tribal leaders Sardar Akram Abbasi, Sardar Muhammad Ayub Khan and Syed Hassan Shah Gardezi, the organization will be founded in a large public gathering in Pothi Mir Khan Tarakhel. The main objectives were to eliminate social evils, un-Islamic and Hindu customs, reform society, promote religious education, unity and consensus, reconcile mutual disputes, and work to remove educational backwardness. For this, steps will be taken with full public support. Scholarships were issued, the Muthi Atta Scheme was a part of it. The foundation of Darul Uloom Taleem-ul-Quran Palandri was laid for religious education. Scholarships were set up for higher education and the founding President of Azad Kashmir Ghazi Millat Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, former advisor to the government Sardar Habib Khan, Chief Justice Sardar Sharif Khan and many other eminent and talented personalities were financially supported in their higher education, who later reached very high positions. Till now, thousands of people from all tribes without any discrimination have obtained higher education through the educational scholarships of this organization and this mission is still continuing with the same passion and dedication. This year, 76 students have been given scholarships for higher education.
Sardar Shazib Shabbir Khan has received another high honor that he is the third public figure to be elected to this position. Earlier, Sardar Mukhtar Khan Advocate and Dr. Sardar Muhammad Kaleem Khan have held this position. For a long time, the heads of this organization have been retired army officers and bureaucrats who are known for their expertise in discipline and management. In this regard, the presidential periods of Col Noor Hussain, Col Kamal Khan, Sardar Habib Khan, Col Zakir Hussain, Col Sarwar Khan and retired Secretary Sardar Siddique Khan can also be cited as examples. However, I am very grateful for the hard work, discipline and high performance of the Secretary General of the organization, Dr. Ghulam Hussain Khan, who handled the scattered records of the organization and preserved this valuable data. He worked day and night to list all the dignitaries and informed everyone about the details of the funds and members. He also got the organization registered with the Social Welfare Department. All these tasks require a lot of effort.
