Enhancing Pak Türkiye Bilateral Engagement and Cooperation

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, led a high-level meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye. The session, held under the Committee on Enhancing Pak–Türkiye Bilateral Engagement, reviewed progress in various key sectors and emphasized deepening ties for the mutual benefit of both countries.
Officials from multiple government departments provided updates on joint initiatives spanning economy, trade, industry, education, health, energy, defence, infrastructure, and connectivity. The discussions highlighted the advancements made so far and identified opportunities to accelerate further collaboration.
Senator Ishaq Dar called for the swift implementation of agreed-upon proposals and projects, underlining the government’s strong commitment to advancing comprehensive cooperation with Türkiye. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Secretary, and Secretaries from the Economic Affairs Division, Health, Water Resources, Petroleum, and Power, alongside other senior officials, reflecting the importance Pakistan places on its relationship with Türkiye.
