Integral Global Strengthens Collaboration with Pakistan’s Ministry of Health

Director of Integral Global, Nabeel Ahmed, met with Minister of State for Health Dr. Mukhtar Bharath to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation in the health sector and addressing shared priorities. The meeting underscored ongoing and potential partnership opportunities, particularly in combating public health challenges.

Dr. Mukhtar Bharath praised Integral Global’s support for the Prime Minister’s program to eliminate Hepatitis C, acknowledging the organization’s significant contributions. He also expressed the Ministry’s ambition to work with Integral Global to transform Islamabad’s health system into a model “Health City”. Efforts are already underway to strengthen the healthcare infrastructure in the Islamabad Capital Territory.

During the discussions, Integral Global emphasized the importance of introducing birth dose vaccinations for Hepatitis B across Pakistan. Both parties agreed to organize a key meeting to address financial considerations and strategize implementation at national and provincial levels.

Integral Global’s director reiterated the organization’s commitment to deepen its role in improving Pakistan’s health sector. He affirmed continued support for initiatives promoting water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) across the country.

The director also briefed Minister Bharath on the organization’s ongoing projects, highlighting Integral Global’s dedication to enhancing public health in Pakistan over recent years. In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Capital Development Authority, Integral Global aims to foster healthier, cleaner communities.

According to the organization, its WASH campaigns have achieved significant successes among underserved communities and schools, helping to improve overall health outcomes nationwide.
