The workshop was conducted under the WHO Global Benchmarking Tool (GBT) on October 28-29, 2026, in Islamabad.

Federal and provincial regulatory representatives attended the session, which focused on regulatory harmonisation, risk-based inspections, GSDP compliance, identification of regulatory gaps, and preparation of time-bound action plans.

The discussions were aimed at supporting a more coordinated, harmonised and robust regulatory framework for Pakistan’s regulatory system.
