Five MPhil Researchers Clear Thesis Viva at Women University Mardan

MARDAN: The Department of Botany at Women University Mardan has successfully held the MPhil thesis viva voce examinations of five scholars under the supervision of Dr Sabaoon.

The examinations were conducted by an academic panel comprising Dr Yamin Bibi from the Department of Botany, Rawalpindi Women University, who served as the external examiner; Dr Hira Bashir, Head of the Department of Botany, Women University Mardan; and Dr Haleem, Director ORIC, Women University Mardan.

The scholars — Elsa Azam, Khadija Noor, Nasreen, Muniba Hoor and Suhana Bibi — successfully defended their MPhil theses. During the viva voce proceedings, they presented their research findings and answered questions posed by the examination panel, showing their grasp of their research areas and the scientific importance of their work.

The panel praised the scholars for their research efforts, academic performance and commitment to their respective projects. Dr Sabaoon congratulated all five scholars on reaching the important academic milestone and appreciated their dedication, hard work and commitment to research.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Razia Sultana also commended the successful completion of the MPhil viva voce examinations and congratulated the scholars, their supervisor and the Department of Botany on the achievement. She underlined the significance of quality research and encouraged faculty members and postgraduate scholars to continue contributing to scientific and academic development.

The successful defence of the theses marks another academic achievement for the Department of Botany, Women University Mardan, and reflects the university’s continued commitment to quality postgraduate education, research and academic excellence.
