World Games Chengdu Update Noor Zaman Reaches Plate Final

Pakistan’s Noor Zaman has advanced to the finals of the Plate Event at the World Games in Chengdu, China, after defeating Japan’s R. Tsukue with a score of 3-1. Zaman secured his spot in the final by winning three sets to one in a competitive match, finishing with scores of 11-7, 7-11, 11-7, and 12-10.

In contrast, fellow Pakistani player Nasir Iqbal was eliminated from the Plate Event after being defeated by Colombia’s Ronald Palomino. Iqbal fought hard but lost 3-1, with the match scores reading 15-13, 13-15, 11-4, and 11-5 in Palomino’s favor.

Noor Zaman is set to compete in the Plate Event final, continuing his strong performance at the prestigious tournament. The squash community extends its support and wishes him the best of luck in the upcoming match.
