The Creative Arts and Dramatics Society (CADS), in collaboration with ORIC, organised a Drama Workshop on October 7, 2025 that brought practical theatre training to campus. The session was led by Mr. Basharat Jaffery, Senior Producer and Instructor at PTV Academy, who guided participants through fundamental approaches to dramatic performance and production.
Drawing on his experience in drama, music, documentaries and lighting direction, Mr. Jaffery demonstrated techniques for scene work, voice control, stage presence and technical planning. Students engaged with hands-on exercises and received personalised feedback that connected classroom learning to real production demands.
The joint CADS and ORIC initiative emphasised creative learning and skill development, giving attendees concrete insight into drama production and performance techniques. Participants left the Drama Workshop with renewed confidence, practical know-how and motivation to pursue further performing arts projects.
