ITCN Asia Karachi 2025 Pakistan’s Largest Tech Expo

ITCN Asia Karachi is returning in its 26th edition as Pakistan’s largest IT and telecom expo, bringing together global delegations, industry leaders, startups, investors and policymakers to showcase innovations, forge partnerships and drive investment in the country’s digital economy. Organized by E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan (Private) Limited, the event is being held at the Karachi Expo Center in collaboration with the Ministry of IT & Telecom’s Tech Destination Pakistan initiative and with the endorsement of the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
The three-day exhibition will be officially inaugurated by Federal Minister for IT & Telecom Shaza Fatima Khawaja. Organizers expect the event to draw more than 50,000 participants, including technology executives, startup founders, venture investors, policy makers and diplomatic representatives, all aiming to explore business opportunities and strategic collaboration.
ITCN Asia Karachi will feature over 700 exhibitors and more than 100 high-level foreign delegates, with international pavilions and leading companies showcasing advances in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, fintech, e-commerce and 5G technologies. The expo is designed to provide networking, knowledge exchange and business development opportunities across the full tech ecosystem.
Delegations from more than 25 countries are scheduled to attend, with confirmed representation from the United Kingdom, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, the United States and Australia. Organizers say the presence of these global delegations will create a broad platform for aligning Pakistan’s tech ambitions with international partners and investors.
Last year’s edition produced memorandums of understanding worth approximately $500 million, a benchmark organizers say highlights the expo’s role in catalyzing investment and trade. Expectations are high that this year’s event could yield even larger deals and strategic alliances that will further stimulate the sector’s growth.
Muhammad Umair Nizam, Group Director of E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan, emphasized the sector’s wider economic impact: “Pakistan’s IT sector is not just an industry; it is the engine of our economic transformation, generating record exports, attracting billions in investment and creating vital employment opportunities for our youth.”
With a 25-year legacy, ITCN Asia has hosted delegations from many of the world’s major economies, transitioned successfully to virtual formats during the pandemic, and is now returning with hybrid elements to extend its reach and impact. Organizers position this edition as a pivotal moment to highlight Pakistan’s technology progress and to accelerate the country’s digital economic agenda.
