The Provincial Steering Committee met at the AKS Auditorium, P&D Board, under the chairmanship of Secretary P&D Board Mr. Rafaqat Ali to review implementation efforts linked to the UNSDCF 2023-27. The session concentrated on assessing current progress and identifying practical steps to strengthen coordination among implementing partners across Punjab.
The meeting brought together a range of stakeholders to examine programme alignment, resource coordination and monitoring measures that support the UNSDCF Punjab priorities. Discussions focused on ensuring that provincial planning and United Nations cooperation remain synchronized to deliver tangible results for Sustainable Development Goals in the 2023-27 timeframe.
Participants outlined avenues to enhance collaboration between government departments, UN agencies and development partners so that initiatives under the UNSDCF Punjab translate into measurable improvements on the ground. Strengthened coordination and regular progress reviews were highlighted as essential to accelerate SDG implementation and optimize support for provincial development goals.
