Driving Cybersecurity Action in Pakistan 2025
On 3 December 2025 P@SHA Chairman Sajjad Syed addressed delegates at the Annual Cyber Security Conference Pakistan 2025, delivering a keynote that framed Cybersecurity as a national priority. He emphasized the urgency of safeguarding critical infrastructure and outlined the need for stronger collaboration between government agencies and the private sector to build resilience across Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.
Following the keynote, P@SHA CEC Member Salman Dar joined a panel discussion on Pakistan’s Critical Infrastructure Under Threat: A National Risk Assessment, where he shared his observations on potential risks and practical mitigation strategies. Salman Dar stressed the importance of coordinated efforts, information sharing, and capacity building to reduce vulnerabilities and respond effectively to emerging threats across sectors.
The conference concluded with a recognition ceremony in which Ghazanfar Ali Khan, CEO at EPL, CBA & Keytaab, presented shields to Sajjad Syed and Salman Dar in appreciation of their contributions to the event. P@SHA reaffirmed its commitment to promoting cybersecurity awareness and strengthening Pakistan’s digital infrastructure to support a safer, more secure digital future.
