Patrolling Police Rescue Operation Saves 12 Families in Flood

The Rawalpindi Region Patrolling Police successfully conducted a rescue operation in Attock district, safely rescuing twelve families who had become trapped due to flooding caused by rising water levels in the River Indus.
According to officials, the emergency rescue mission was conducted by Patrolling Post Shadi Khan in Attock district following immediate reports of flooding in the Bela area near River Indus. Upon receiving information about the flood threat, Sub-Inspector Moazzam Munir and his team swiftly arrived on the scene and immediately launched rescue efforts.
The flooding posed a serious threat to the lives and property of twelve families of nomads residing in the affected region. A total of ninety individuals, including men, women, and children were safely evacuated during the six-hour-long rescue operation. In addition, rescue workers successfully managed to save 120 cattle belonging to these families as well.
All survivors, along with their belongings, have now been safely relocated to secure locations. Those affected by the flooding expressed gratitude and appreciation toward the Patrolling Police for their prompt response and dedicated assistance.
The Rawalpindi Region Patrolling Police reiterated its commitment to the safety, security, and wellbeing of the public, emphasizing their readiness and constant efforts to serve and protect the community at all times.
