**Director Engineer Services Reviews Key Upgrades at Allama Iqbal International Airport**

The Director Engineer Services recently visited Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIAP) to inspect the progress and quality of various major infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on essential taxiways and passenger amenities. The visit underscores the Pakistan Airports Authority’s commitment to maintaining world-class standards and operational safety across all its facilities.

During the inspection, special attention was given to Taxiway “P”, recognized for its critical role in airport operations. The Director commended the airport management for ensuring its continual functionality and high standards of maintenance. He also assessed the rehabilitation work underway on Taxiway “R” and inspected Taxiways “B” and “D”. After a thorough review, the Director issued key directives aimed at upholding stringent safety measures and ensuring uninterrupted airport operations.

The visit also included a detailed evaluation of ongoing renovation projects within the state lounge. The Director expressed satisfaction with the progress, highlighting improvements made to enhance passenger experience. Furthermore, discussions were held regarding the establishment of a new executive lounge, which is expected to provide enhanced services and comfort for visiting foreign dignitaries.
