Kazakhstan and Pakistan Explore New Avenues for Business Collaboration

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin, met with a delegation of prominent Islamabad-based businessmen to discuss expanding economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan. The meeting brought together key figures from sectors including construction, real estate, information technology, tourism, education, printing, security services, and light industry, underscoring the broad scope of potential collaboration.

Led by Mr. Rashid Humayun, Chairman of the Center for International Business & Expo Organization, the Pakistani delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with Ambassador Kistafin. Both sides examined promising areas for joint ventures and shared perspectives on strengthening direct links between entrepreneurs from the two countries.

Ambassador Kistafin briefed attendees on recent and upcoming business events, as well as ongoing initiatives aimed at establishing sustainable platforms to foster dialogue and partnership between Kazakh and Pakistani businesses. He highlighted the efforts being made to facilitate greater economic engagement and unlock new opportunities for both nations.

Pakistani business representatives expressed strong interest in further developing these opportunities, emphasizing their eagerness to pursue mutually beneficial projects with their Kazakh counterparts. The meeting concluded with an agreement to organize a follow-up event in the near future, to be held under the auspices of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry. This gathering will provide a broader forum for presenting Kazakhstan’s investment climate and trade prospects to the Pakistani business community.
