Additional Chief Secretary Appointments in KP Take Office

Ikramullah Khan, a Grade 21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and has taken charge of his new responsibilities. At the same time, Lieutenant (Retired) Islam Zeb, also a Grade 21 PAS officer, assumed charge as Additional Chief Secretary for the Planning and Development Department.

The department hosted a formal meeting to honour both officers where senior officials and staff conveyed their best wishes. The gathering acknowledged the officers’ experience and underlined the importance of continuity in administrative functioning as the new Additional Chief Secretary appointees begin their tenures.

Both appointments reinforce leadership at the provincial level, with the Additional Chief Secretary roles expected to oversee coordination between departmental teams and ensure effective delivery of administrative priorities. Colleagues expressed confidence in Ikramullah Khan and Islam Zeb as they settle into their respective responsibilities across Home and Planning and Development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
