Patrolling Police Launches Blood Donation Drive
The Patrolling Police Rawalpindi region, led by Regional Officer SP Faisal Saleem with support from DSP Muhammad Irfan Butt D.O Rawalpindi, organized a blood donation camp at the Thakra Mor patrol post in partnership with Sundas Foundation to assist children suffering from thalassemia.
Seventy units of blood were collected during the drive, offering vital support to local thalassemia patients. At the same time, a free medical camp was held for officers and their families, delivering immediate consultations and basic treatments to those in attendance.
To further bolster employee welfare, a memorandum of understanding was signed with Tajir Welfare Society Hospital and its CEO Sajjad Butt. Under the agreement, all staff members and their families will receive a 50 percent discount on hospital services, improving access to healthcare for patrolling personnel across the region.
The Patrolling Police emphasized that staff welfare remains a foremost priority and that these measures are intended to provide sustained medical support for affected children while strengthening health services available to employees and their families in Rawalpindi.
