Students Launch Youngpreneurs Initiative
ISLAMABAD, 24 October 2025 — Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, Parliamentary Secretary for Information & Broadcasting, attended Westminster International School as chief guest to celebrate the energy and innovation of young students at the launch of the Youngpreneurs Initiative. The event highlighted how early exposure to entrepreneurial practice can shape future economic contributors across the twin cities.
The Youngpreneurs Initiative is designed to nurture creativity, practical problem solving and basic business acumen among young learners. Its flagship feature, the Youngpreneurs Launchpad, was entirely conceptualized and run by students in grades four and five and featured over 250 stalls offering handmade and inventive products created by the pupils themselves.
In his address, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry praised the hands-on approach and its focus on real-world skills, saying, “What we are witnessing here today is not just a school event; it is the seed of our future economy. The Youngpreneurs Initiative is a vital platform that moves beyond rote learning, equipping our children with essential 21st-century skills like negotiation, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial thinking.” His remarks underscored the initiative’s role in preparing students to participate actively in Pakistan’s evolving economy.
The Parliamentary Secretary reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting educational models that encourage critical thinking and innovation, and he commended Westminster International School for leading efforts in holistic education. Students were encouraged to continue refining their ideas, deepen their business knowledge and remain focused on creative problem-solving as they build the foundations of future enterprises through the Youngpreneurs Initiative.
