Showcasing Pakistan at OIC Cultural Festival
A released group photograph of heads of delegations captures the spirit of cultural exchange at the OIC Cultural Festival, held as part of Baku Creative Week in Baku, Azerbaijan from 5–11 December 2025. The image underlines the event’s role in bringing together diverse artistic traditions, heritage and creative industries from across the Islamic world.
Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Muhammad Aurangzeb Khan Khichi led Pakistan’s delegation and used the platform to foreground the country’s rich cultural identity and artistic achievements. His participation highlighted Pakistan’s creative potential and helped project a positive, forward-looking image of the nation to regional partners and international audiences.
The group photo has been presented as a symbol of cultural cooperation and strengthened ties among OIC member states. Pakistan’s visible role at the OIC Cultural Festival reflects a deliberate effort to deepen cultural diplomacy and expand collaboration in areas of heritage preservation, creative exchange and artistic innovation.
For Pakistani cultural stakeholders, presence at Baku Creative Week offers practical opportunities to network, showcase traditional and contemporary arts, and build partnerships that can support the country’s creative economy. Continued engagement at events like the OIC Cultural Festival is expected to reinforce cultural links and open new avenues for joint projects and exchanges.
