Islamabad (28th October, 2025) – The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and the Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination (MoCC&EC) have formalized a memorandum of understanding to foster eco-friendly digital infrastructure and sustainable innovation across Pakistan. The agreement underscores a shared intent to prioritize green digital infrastructure in national planning and regulatory work.
PTA and MoCC&EC will work together to integrate environmental considerations into digital development, encouraging technologies and practices that reduce the carbon intensity of telecom and digital services.
