Boosting Islamabad Security Through Focused Talks

Syed Zeeshan Ali Naqvi, focal person to the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, held a meeting today with Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi at the IG office to review current law and order and Islamabad security challenges facing the federal capital.

The two officials exchanged detailed views on security arrangements, measures to protect citizens, and steps to prevent crime across the city. Discussion emphasized the professional responsibilities of the police, the need to maintain public order, and practical coordination between institutions to strengthen Islamabad security.

Naqvi praised the Islamabad Police for its ongoing efforts to stabilise the city, noting the importance of visible policing and proactive prevention to build public confidence. The role of youth in supporting crime prevention and civic cooperation was highlighted as an integral component of a holistic security approach.

IG Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi assured that all necessary resources are being mobilised to ensure the safety of life and property and to maintain an effective security system in the capital. Both sides agreed to continue collaboration on measures that enhance Islamabad security and protect residents across the federal territory.
