Strengthening Ties Through Pak China Bowling Championship

The Sports and Culture Attaché of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, Mr. Cheng Peng, visited Leisure City Bowling Club at Safa Gold F-7 Mazkar and said the Pak China Bowling championship will further strengthen relations between the two countries.

During the visit, Mr. Cheng Peng was accompanied by other embassy officials, including Mr. Zhang, and met with Mr. Ijaz-ur-Rehman, President of the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation. Mr. Ijaz-ur-Rehman briefed the delegation on the arrangements and confirmed that preparations for the event are already underway.

The Pak-China Friendship Tenpin Bowling Championship will run alongside the 18th National Tenpin Bowling Championship from January 24 to 30. Bowlers from across Pakistan are expected to participate, and the event will form part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of Pak-China friendship, featuring performances by singers, musicians and actors.

Mr. Ijaz-ur-Rehman emphasized that the championship aims to promote bowling and deepen bilateral cooperation in sports. At the conclusion of the visit, Mr. Cheng Peng thanked the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation for the planning and assured full cooperation as the Islamabad event approaches.
