Private schools reaffirm confidence in PSN at Bara Kahu zonal meeting

BARA KAHU, July 25, 2026: The private education community of Bara Kahu demonstrated strong confidence in the Private Schools Network (PSN) Islamabad as more than 100 heads and representatives of member schools attended a zonal meeting held at Scinta Vision College, Bara Kahu, on Saturday.

The large turnout reflected PSN’s growing acceptance, organised structure and the collective resolve of private educational institutions in the area.

The meeting was presided over by PSN Islamabad Central President Maqbool Hussain Dar. Members of the Central Executive Committee (CEC), including Senior Vice President Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad, Vice Presidents Haji Abdul Nadeem and Ubaida Yazdan, Central General Secretary Imtiaz Ali Khan, and Chairman Central Committee for FBISE Affairs Saleem Khan, also attended the session.

The proceedings began with a welcome address by Zonal President Azam Khan, who thanked all member schools for their trust, loyalty and active support for PSN. He also appreciated the efforts of his zonal cabinet in successfully organising the meeting and paid tribute to Zonal General Secretary Mohsin Abbasi, Vice Presidents Muhammad Ali and Alamgir Khan, Information Secretary Saeedur Rehman and Nauman Bazeer for their services.

Participants paid rich tribute to the late Dr Muhammad Afzal Babar for his valuable services in the promotion of education. They also renewed their commitment to carrying forward his mission, vision and educational services with the same dedication and spirit.

The meeting held detailed discussions on key issues being faced by private educational institutions, particularly matters related to the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) and the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE). Participants stressed the need to adopt a joint strategy for resolving these issues.

CEC members also addressed the forum, responded to various questions and concerns raised by member institutions, and provided guidance on important matters related to the education sector.

Speakers congratulated Zonal President Azam Khan and his team for arranging what they described as a successful and impressive gathering. They also commended the member institutions of Bara Kahu Zone for their exemplary unity, loyalty and confidence in the zonal leadership.

In his concluding address, Central President Maqbool Hussain Dar underlined the importance of unity, mutual coordination and strong harmony among the central leadership, zonal organisations and member schools.

He said PSN would continue to play an effective role at every level for protecting the rights of its member institutions and addressing their problems. He assured the participants that whenever any school needed PSN’s support, the central leadership and its team would stand by it with all possible cooperation and guidance.
