Distributing FIFA footballs to Bannu youth

An event at Bannu Sports Complex saw Regional Sports Officer Bannu Division Anwar Kamal Barki hand over FIFA footballs to a range of local teams and young players. The distribution covered registered teams in full kits as well as students from religious seminaries and regional-level youth associated with football.

Anwar Kamal Barki said the initiative aims to guide the younger generation towards healthy and positive activities and highlighted that sports support physical development while fostering discipline, teamwork and tolerance. He noted that supplying FIFA footballs is intended to keep youth away from negative influences and bring them onto sports grounds so they may one day represent the country at national and international levels.

The Regional Sports Officer added that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the Sports Department are taking practical steps to improve sports facilities for youth and that similar programs will continue in the future. He emphasized that these efforts will open better opportunities for talented players from Bannu Division and neighbouring areas.

Players and coaches welcomed the move, saying the provision of FIFA footballs will raise the standard of the game and boost the morale of young players. Participants expressed hope that such measures will promote sports activities and increase youth involvement in positive pursuits across the region.
