Rawalpindi Board Releases Matric Results 2025

Results of the Matric Second Annual 2025 examinations were declared on Thursday 20 November 2025 at 10:00 AM during a simple but dignified ceremony held by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rawalpindi. The event was attended by Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan, Secretary Amjad Iqbal Khattak and other senior board officials.

The Rawalpindi Matric outcomes show that 23,007 candidates submitted admission forms for the examination and 22,865 actually sat the papers. Of those who appeared, 7,383 candidates passed, producing an overall pass percentage of 32.31 percent, while 15,427 candidates failed. Additionally, 93 candidates were absent and 49 admission forms were cancelled for various reasons. The examinations included 14,705 male students and 8,160 female students, reflecting continued participation across genders.

Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan praised the board’s staff for ensuring a transparent conduct of exams and the timely issuance of results. He congratulated Secretary Amjad Iqbal Khattak and the examination team for their efforts and highlighted the important contribution of former chairman Mohammad Adnan Khan, whose guidance and vision helped establish a merit-based and modern examination system at the board.

The prompt preparation and publication of results were described as concrete proof of the board’s transparent policies and the dedicated work of its employees. Board spokesperson Arsalan Ali Cheema confirmed the figures and said the administration remains committed to maintaining integrity and efficiency in future examination cycles.
