Supporting Langar Khana Expands Welfare Reach
On May 17, 2026 in Rawalpindi, Asma Ismail Butt, chief executive of Dolphin Communication and deputy chairperson of the Pakistan Horticultural Society Islamabad, visited the Langar Khana run by former MNA and Sitara-e-Hilal Imtiaz Khan Zamarud Khan to review ongoing welfare activities.
The delegation included Dr Nusrat, Asma Malik, Kaleem Khan, Sheikh Saqib, Nomi, Jamal Shah, Malik Najeeb, Jahangir Ali and other members of the artist community who examined food distribution, kitchen arrangements and overall management. They praised the Langar Khana for maintaining steady services to deserving families and for the operational discipline that keeps daily relief consistent.
Asma Ismail Butt said real life is lived by those who share others suffering, uphold responsibility and dedicate themselves to support people in need. She emphasized that institutions like this Langar Khana provide hope to underprivileged segments and called for sustained social support and cooperation to strengthen their impact.
Imtiaz Khan Zamarud Khan described serving humanity as his life mission and said the Langar Khana aims not only to feed those in need but to restore dignity, hope and respect. He welcomed collaboration with the artist community and social figures, noting that joint efforts will help expand the Langar Khana reach and ensure more families benefit from its services.
