Computer Arts Thesis Display 2025 at FJWU Showcases Innovation

Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) launched its annual Computer Arts Thesis Display 2025, showcasing the innovative work of graduating students in digital arts. The event highlighted the creativity and technical skills of the students, with projects spanning animation, game design, graphic design, video, textile design, and web design.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr. Bushra Mirza, who praised the graduating class for their remarkable creativity and confidence. Dr. Mirza reaffirmed FJWU’s commitment to empowering women in digital arts and nurturing future leaders in the field.

Prominent guest Ms. Nigar Nazar, CEO of Gogi Studios and Pakistan’s first female cartoonist, attended the event as Guest of Honour. She commended the students’ imaginative concepts and emphasized the importance of storytelling through digital media. Ms. Nazar expressed her admiration for the young women who are using both art and technology to produce projects with real social impact.

The thesis projects were meticulously supervised by faculty members Ms. Sidra Ashraf, Ms. Zarin Gul, Ms. Tehmina Javaid, Ms. Darakshan Batool, Ms. Afshan Jamal, Ms. Kinza Yasmeen, and Ms. Durraj Nadeem, along with support from external supervisors. The display served as a platform for students to exhibit critical thinking, creativity, and technical expertise, reflecting the growth and future potential of digital arts in Pakistan.
