Defending Pakistan Through Marka-e-Haq Victory
Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, told attendees at the first commemorative ceremony of Marka-e-Haq 2025 in Rawalpindi that Operation Banyan al-Marsous demonstrated Pakistan’s strength across military, diplomatic and information fronts.
He said the response to the cross-border aggression was decisive after what he described as false claims by the other side that targeted terrorist positions but instead hit civilians, including women and children. In counteraction, Pakistan struck and disabled enemy military installations, sending a firm message about the country’s defensive capability and resolve.
Danyal Chaudhry credited the armed forces’ professionalism, the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir and the strategic foresight of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for turning Operation Banyan al-Marsous into a clear strategic success. He said Marka-e-Haq was not only a tactical win but a demonstration of truth prevailing over organised misinformation.
According to the parliamentary secretary, the Marka-e-Haq outcome has strengthened Pakistan’s image as a serious and dignified state and affirmed national unity. He paid tribute to the martyrs as eternal pride and honoured the living Ghazis for their role in defending the homeland.
The ceremony at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry drew local leadership including RCCI President Usman Shaukat, Tehreek-e-Jawanan Pakistan Chairman Muhammad Abdullah Hameed Gul and RCCI Group Leader Sohail Altaf, with other prominent figures joining in a public reaffirmation that Pakistan will stand firm for truth, peace and national security.
