Women University Mardan Launches Free Digital Skills Training
MARDAN: The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at Women University Mardan has organised a free training programme in Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing under the Digital Economy and Skill Center (DESC), Mardan.
According to a press release issued on September 9, 2026, the programme is aimed at equipping students with modern, in-demand and industry-relevant digital skills. The training is being conducted under Batch-II and focuses on the emerging fields of Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing.
The initiative is being facilitated in collaboration with Mr Naveed Yousafzai from PIE-TECHNOLOGIES & SNSKIES and Mr Ghulam Serwar, Project Manager, DESC.
Ms Haleema Ikram, Director ORIC, Women University Mardan, appreciated the collaborative efforts and highlighted the importance of digital skills for the professional development of students.
The programme is being organised under the guidance of Prof Dr Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor of Women University Mardan, who continues to promote innovation, technology and skill development opportunities for students.
The initiative reflects Women University Mardan’s commitment to preparing students for emerging opportunities in the rapidly changing digital economy.
