itel Energy Unveils New Battery Line and C&I Plans at Karachi Solar Expo
KARACHI: itel Energy presented its latest solar-plus-storage portfolio at the 22nd Solar Pakistan Expo, held from October 9 to 11 at the Expo Centre Karachi, where the company highlighted its Gen-2 battery, cooperation with REPT BATTERO and plans to move further into commercial and industrial energy storage.
The showcase came as Pakistan’s solar market enters a key phase, with rising grid tariffs and routine load-shedding pushing consumers towards solar-plus-storage systems. According to the company, the storage market is expanding by more than 30 percent year-on-year, supported by lower battery costs and growing demand for energy independence.
itel Energy announced a strategic cooperation with REPT BATTERO, described as a world-leading lithium battery cell manufacturer. Under the partnership, itel Energy has introduced a new-generation residential battery line in 5kW and 2.5kW capacities.
The batteries are built with REPT’s “Royal Series” 100 percent Grade A Cells Inside cells. The company said the new line offers higher performance density, allowing more usable energy in a compact design, along with enhanced safety through a built-in Intelligent BMS with real-time monitoring.
The residential battery range has also been engineered for over 10 years of daily cycling. It supports integration with compatible inverters through CAN2.0, RS485 and wireless communication, while allowing up to 16 parallel units for scalability.
itel Energy also highlighted its Sparta IP66 and IP54 hybrid inverters, which it said have been installed across thousands of sites nationwide, from Punjab’s dusty plains to Karachi’s humid coastal conditions. Installers favour the series for outdoor mounting with shelter, while the plug-and-play battery system is designed to reduce wiring errors. End-users have reported stable performance during harsh summer conditions.
“I have installed 383 itel Energy systems so far. The product reliability and strong performance have made itel Energy a trusted choice for my customers,” said Sajjad Ali, a solar installer from Karachi.
Moving beyond the residential segment, itel Energy has signed a memorandum of understanding with strategic partners to develop dedicated commercial and industrial energy solutions. The company also showcased its new-generation 10kWh C&I battery, made with 100 percent Grade-A Cells Inside.
The C&I battery system is designed for flexible deployment, scaling from 40.96kWh to 661.8kWh. It can operate as both high-voltage and low-voltage without requiring a BDU. The company said its C&I approach also includes integrated project delivery from energy audit to installation and monitoring, along with AI-driven energy management to optimise consumption and reduce peak demand charges.
itel Energy further positioned its Power Series as part of daily consumer use beyond rooftop solar. Through co-marketing with EV bikes and smartphones, the company said its Power Tank portable stations can be paired with itel electric bikes for micro-mobility, while bundled campaigns link itel Energy products with smartphones.
The company said its wider ecosystem brings together REPT battery cells, Gen-2-powered inverters for homes, scalable C&I solutions for industrial adoption and mobility-related products to extend the brand’s role in everyday energy use.
