IIUI Female Campus Hosts Volleyball Competition for Independence Day

The Female Campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) recently hosted a friendly volleyball competition to celebrate the country’s upcoming Independence Day and encourage sportsmanship and teamwork among students. The event brought together more than 25 female students from various departments who formed teams and competed enthusiastically.

Organized under the guidance of Sports Officer Ms. Nadia Mukhtar and Assistant Sports Officer Ms. Sana Gul, with support from the Directorate of Student Affairs, the tournament provided a vibrant platform for students to demonstrate their skills and foster healthy competition. Student Advisor Dr. Rukhsana Tariq, who attended the event as chief guest, commended the players for their energy, commitment, and team spirit.

The volleyball competition was designed to help students balance academic responsibilities with physical activity, build camaraderie, and develop essential social skills. The initiative reflects IIUI’s ongoing commitment to promoting both physical and mental well-being within its campus community.
