Patrolling Police Hold Blood Donation and Free Medical Camp

Punjab Highway Patrol in Rawalpindi Region organized a blood donation and free medical camp at its Akhori post, drawing participation from both police officers and the local community. Senior officials, including Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza and DSP Patrolling Fayaz ul Haq, attended the event as chief guests and also contributed by donating blood themselves.

The blood donation camp was arranged in collaboration with the Human Welfare Thalassemia Center DHQ Attock, under the supervision of Professor Dr Maqsood Elahi and his team. The initiative saw 52 donors voluntarily donate blood to support patients in need, especially those suffering from thalassemia and other blood disorders.

Alongside, a free medical camp was set up with the support of the Roshan Health Research and Welfare Society Pakistan. Medical services were provided by Dr Syed Rashid Ali, joined by Dr Maqsood Khan, Principal of Khyber Homeopathic Medical College Mardan, and their medical team. Free medicines were supplied by Raz Homeo Store Peshawar, providing attendees, including both police employees and local residents, the opportunity for checkups and treatment.

The event highlighted the commitment of the patrolling police and partner organizations to public health and community service. Both employees and members of the public benefited from the free health services and medications made available during the camp.
