A public hearing was held in Islamabad to discuss the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the proposed construction of The Courtyard Residences Apartment Complex, a 45-story residential building in Sector F-11/1. The session focused on major environmental concerns such as air quality, noise pollution, traffic congestion, solid waste generation, and potential impacts on local biodiversity.
Participants in the hearing, particularly members of the academic community, raised numerous questions and expressed serious concerns about the potential negative effects of the project. The project’s proponents and their team responded to these queries, outlining various mitigation measures that would be implemented to address the issues raised.
