Minister of State for Finance and Railways Bilal Azhar Kayani visited a flood relief camp in the Landa Khorad area of Jhelum Tehsil, where he reviewed the ongoing support efforts provided by the Livestock Department. Accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of Jhelum, Kayani assessed the facilities being extended to flood-affected communities.
During the visit, the Minister inquired in detail about the services offered at the relief camp, particularly focusing on the assistance provided to livestock owners impacted by the recent floods. He emphasized the government’s commitment to continue supporting those affected and directed officials to ensure all necessary help reaches the affected populations.
Commending the dedication of the Livestock Department’s field staff, Kayani lauded their hard work and spirit in assisting the local community during this challenging time. He assured livestock farmers that the government would maintain its efforts to provide comprehensive support as part of the ongoing relief operations.
