RAWALPINDI: Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Danyal Chaudhry on Monday inaugurated the newly constructed Chaudhry Zamurd Hussain Block at the Rawalpindi Kachehri.
Speaking at the ceremony, Barrister Danyal said young lawyers would be provided the required facilities to help them benefit from modern technology and artificial intelligence, enabling them to respond to the changing needs of the legal profession.
He said particular attention was being given to strengthening the professional capacity of young lawyers. IT centres and other modern facilities, he added, would support young lawyers in using emerging technologies, including AI, and in bringing their legal services in line with contemporary requirements.
Barrister Danyal said lawyers equipped with modern technology would be able to provide legal services in a more efficient and effective manner. He said the initiative was aimed at connecting the legal community with evolving professional demands and promoting digital facilities in the legal sector.
The Parliamentary Secretary said the introduction of a modern bar management system would help improve the administrative affairs of the bar and make service delivery for lawyers more efficient.
He termed the Chaudhry Zamurd Hussain Block an important addition to the infrastructure of the Kachehri, saying it would provide a better working environment for both lawyers and litigants.
The ceremony was attended by Rawalpindi Bar Association President Tariq Mehmood Sajid Awan, Vice President Shazia Hashmi, General Secretary Qamar-ul-Haq Niazi, Joint Secretary Ahsan Manjh, former president Raja Nasir, Advocate High Court Shahid Sawati, Senior Advocate Supreme Court Malik Israr, Advocate Dr Arshad, Advocate Tayyab Pakhral, Advocate Raja Shafiq, Advocate Nadeem Akhtar Bhatti and a large number of lawyers.
