P@SHA ICT Awards put spotlight on Pakistan’s tech exports and digital innovation

KARACHI: Pakistan’s technology industry showcased its growing export strength, public-sector digitisation and innovation capacity at the 22nd Annual P@SHA ICT Awards, which concluded in Karachi on September 23, 2026.

Organised by the Pakistan Software Houses Association, the annual awards brought together leading technology companies, digital service providers, innovators and government entities to recognise achievements in software development, digital services and community inclusion.

The ceremony was held at a time when Pakistan is placing increasing emphasis on technology-led growth, export earnings and digital transformation. The awards highlighted the role of the technology sector in supporting trade balance dynamics, broadening the national tax base and attracting global investment.

Systems Limited was among the leading winners of the evening, securing the Gold award in the Services category for Top Exporter for its Technology Export Operations. The recognition underlined the company’s contribution to Pakistan’s technology exports and its role in strengthening the country’s foreign exchange earnings through global market expansion.

The public sector also featured prominently, with NADRA receiving major recognition for its digital government services. NADRA won the Gold award in the Public Sector category for Government and Citizen Services for its Pak ID Mobile App.

The organisation also received Merit recognitions for its Multi Biometric Verification System in the Inclusions and Community category and for its Proof of Life Certificate in Digital Government. These awards reflected the growing use of secure and streamlined digital platforms in citizen-facing government services.

Jazz and its digital development arm, The Software Factory, representing JazzWorld, also delivered a strong performance at the awards. The Software Factory received five accolades across consumer and enterprise solution categories.

In the Consumer category, it won two Gold awards: one for ROX, Pakistan’s Digital-First Mobile Lifestyle Platform, in Media and Entertainment, and another for the FikrFree Digital Insurance Ecosystem in Banking, Insurance and Finance.

JazzWorld also secured Merit awards for AI-driven enterprise platforms, including Onboarding Buddy and Whispr in Business Services, as well as the Meridian AI-Powered Geospatial Intelligence Platform in the Technology Big Data Analytics category.

Other technology firms also earned significant recognition, reflecting the depth and diversity of Pakistan’s digital ecosystem. Quickgen Technologies SMC Pvt Ltd won five awards, including Gold awards for its QuickComm Earpiece Personal AI and Quickcomm Table Top solutions.

DynaSys Networks received four awards in the Inclusions and Community categories. Its Gold recognitions included the Automated Flood Warning System and Smart Water Metering initiatives, highlighting the use of technology in environmental sustainability, community welfare and improved retail distribution.

The awards also served as a platform for identifying scalable and resilient local solutions for future regional and global APICTA recognition. According to the source, the evaluation process is designed to ensure that the strongest solutions are placed at the top of the industry roster.

This year’s P@SHA ICT Awards presented a broad picture of Pakistan’s technology landscape, covering export-led growth, digital government, consumer platforms, enterprise technology, artificial intelligence, big data analytics and inclusion-focused innovation.
