RAWALPINDI: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has announced the top position holders of the Intermediate First Annual Examination 2026.
The names of the position holders were announced by BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Prof Dr Iqbal Mahmood, along with Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan and Board Secretary Prof Amjad Iqbal Khattak.
According to the results, Ifta Javed secured the overall first position by obtaining 1,156 marks. She is a student of Punjab College for Women, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi.
The second position was secured by Noor Fatima Sajid, also a student of Punjab College for Women, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, with 1,151 marks.
The third position was shared by Nabiha Iman of Punjab College for Women, Talagang, and Muneeb Shah of Punjab College, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi. Both candidates obtained 1,142 marks.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Prof Dr Iqbal Mahmood congratulated all position holders, their parents and teachers. He said the outstanding success of the students was the result of their consistent hard work, dedication and the guidance of their teachers.
He further said that students showing excellent performance in academics serve as a source of inspiration for other students.
A ceremony in honour of the position holders will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the premises of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rawalpindi. The students who achieved prominent positions will be presented with honours and prizes.
