Post-Hajj Operations in Pakistan Pakistani Pilgrims Resolving Complaints

Post-Hajj Operations in Pakistan’s Missions Progressing Successfully with Most Complaints Resolved

Pakistani authorities are making significant strides in ensuring a smooth post-Hajj experience for pilgrims, with the majority of complaints addressed efficiently. According to officials, out of 214 reported grievances, 207 have been successfully resolved, reflecting the effectiveness of recent proactive measures.

Muhammad Riaz, Deputy Coordinator of the Pakistani Hajj Mission in Madinah, attributed the reduced number of complaints compared to previous years to timely interventions by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. These measures have included improved facilities such as accommodations, food services, and organized Hajj arrangements over the five-day period of the pilgrimage. Riaz emphasized that these efforts have significantly minimized grievances among Pakistani pilgrims, ensuring a more comfortable and organized experience.

A key factor in this success has been the efficient functioning of the Lost and Found Cell in Madinah, which has processed 540 complaints related to lost items or other issues. Of these, 533 cases have been swiftly resolved, with the remaining under review and expected to be settled shortly. Riaz highlighted the cell’s prompt response as instrumental in alleviating pilgrims’ concerns.

Multiple dedicated teams—including the Early Departure Cell, Complaints Cell, Food Catering Team, and other specialized units—are working continuously to support the pilgrims. Riaz assured that these teams will continue their efforts until the last Pakistani pilgrim departs from Madinah, underscoring the ongoing commitment to providing seamless services.

Expressing gratitude, Riaz also thanked Director Hajj Madinah, Zia Ur Rehman, for his around-the-clock support in facilitating these arrangements. Currently, approximately 41,000 Pakistani pilgrims are in Madinah performing their remaining Hajj rituals. Authorities remain dedicated to offering comprehensive facilities to ensure a spiritually fulfilling and smooth continuation of the pilgrimage process for all Pakistani participants.
