The Pakistan University Sports Board (PUSB) gathered stakeholders in Lahore for strategic consultative meetings aimed at enhancing and streamlining sports development within universities across Pakistan.
These meetings featured detailed sessions involving the PUSB Technical Committee, the Talent Hunt Organising Committee, and the Boxing Organising Secretaries. Stakeholders engaged in discussions surrounding the effective execution of sports activities outlined for the 2025–26 calendar, specifically emphasising improved management of zonal and intervarsity championships.
Participants deliberated extensively on efficient financial planning methods and resource allocation, ensuring sustainable and transparent handling of financial resources dedicated to sports events. In addition, they highlighted the need for comprehensive strategies designed to nurture and develop sporting talent among university students at all levels.
Through proactive collaboration, stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to raising competitive standards and fostering a robust sports culture at Pakistani universities, ultimately contributing to national sporting excellence.
