PMYP Meeting Highlights Productive Employment and Digital Youth Hub

Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, chaired a high-level meeting aimed at promoting productive employment opportunities, highlighting the necessity for timely coordination and strategic initiatives in partnership with Ignite, the Ministry of Information Technology (MOIT), and the Pakistan Freelancers Association.

During the meeting, Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan underscored the importance of strong collaboration and called for weekly follow-up reviews to ensure consistent progress. He stressed the urgency of companies registering on the government’s Digital Youth Hub, a platform created to facilitate employment opportunities and entrepreneurship among youth, thereby boosting Pakistan’s digital economy.

Furthermore, Chairman Khan outlined a comprehensive vision for enhancing Pakistan’s employment landscape by calling for the establishment of 250 e-Rozgar Centres across the country. These collaborations would equip young people with digital and technical skills essential to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven economy, opening new avenues for gainful employment.

Additionally, he emphasized the necessity of uplifting and supporting skilled professionals across all employment sectors—including blue-collar, white-collar, and skilled freelance professionals—ensuring inclusive growth and broader economic development. Chairman Khan pledged the government’s sustained commitment toward creating substantial job opportunities and fostering prosperity for Pakistan’s youth through targeted programs and partnerships.
