Minister of State Wajiha Qamar and EU Delegation Discuss Strengthening TVET Sector in Pakistan

Islamabad: Ms. Wajiha Qamar, Minister of State for the Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training (MOFEPT), held a constructive meeting with Mr. Jeroen Willems, Head of Cooperation at the European Union Delegation to Pakistan. The dialogue centered on new initiatives and the progress of ongoing projects within the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.
Both parties reiterated their commitment to improving the quality and reach of TVET programs across the country. Key points included enhancing teaching methodologies, upgrading learning processes, and ensuring the equitable and efficient delivery of skills training to Pakistan’s youth.
The meeting highlighted a shared vision to empower young people through strengthened skills development, aiming to foster long-term socio-economic growth and create a more promising future for Pakistan.
