PHA Rawalpindi Enhances GPO Chowk and Adiala Road with Vibrant Horticulture

The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi has successfully completed impressive horticultural beautification projects at Saddar GPO Chowk, the newly constructed GPO underpass, and the Nawaz Sharif Flyover on Adiala Road, significantly enhancing the city’s aesthetic appeal. The vibrant plants, colorful flowers, and decorative elements have been warmly welcomed by the public and serve as a testament to PHA’s dedication to creating a cleaner, greener, and healthier urban environment.
Under the special directives from Director General (DG) PHA Rawalpindi, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, extensive horticultural work has transformed Saddar’s GPO Chowk and its adjoining newly built underpass into areas of visual appeal. Brightly colored flowering plants, eye-catching planters, and lush greenery now adorn the spaces, quickly becoming popular landmarks and focal points of attraction among city residents and visitors alike.
Additionally, the Nawaz Sharif Flyover at Adiala Road has also undergone significant horticultural enhancements. Decorative greenery and vibrant floral arrangements along the flyover have prominently improved its visual attractiveness, establishing a welcoming atmosphere and making the flyover a popular feature among citizens.
The horticulture efforts at these sites were executed swiftly and efficiently by the professional teams of PHA, reflecting their unwavering dedication and commitment. DG PHA Rawalpindi, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, applauded the staff for successfully completing these beautification projects in a remarkably short time, and urged them to continue enhancing the aesthetics and greenery at these locations.
DG Ahmed Hassan Ranjha stressed PHA Rawalpindi’s continued commitment to the Green Rawalpindi initiative and reiterated that providing residents with clean, green, and attractive surroundings remains a key priority.
