Haripur Courts Visit Highlights Law Interns’ Insights and Growth

Law interns from the Federal Judicial Academy enhanced their understanding of Pakistan’s judicial system during an educational visit to the District Courts and Central Prison in Haripur. The initiative provided participants with valuable exposure to real courtroom proceedings, judicial protocols, and the significant functions of the District Bar Association.

During the visit, interns observed court sessions and engaged directly with judicial officers and bar members, deepening their appreciation for the justice system’s workings at the district level. The program also offered insights into the relationship between the courts and correctional institutions, highlighting how various elements of the system interconnect.

This hands-on experience was made possible through the cooperation of the Peshawar High Court and local judicial authorities. The District and Sessions Judges, along with the Senior Civil Judge (Admin) of Haripur, played a crucial role in organizing and facilitating the visit, ensuring that the interns benefited from a well-structured and informative tour.

The organizers expressed gratitude to all judicial authorities for their support in making the visit possible. The interns left the program with greater knowledge and renewed inspiration, better prepared to serve as capable future custodians of justice.
