Ali Nawaz, a constable with Islamabad Police, has returned to Pakistan after securing the first-ever silver medal for the country’s police force at the World Police Games 2025, held in the United States. His historic achievement has been widely celebrated by law enforcement officials and the wider community.
Ali Nawaz received a warm and enthusiastic welcome upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, where AIG Logistics Abdul Haq Umrani, along with a large contingent of police officers, greeted him with high praise and appreciation. The young boxer’s unprecedented success has made him a source of pride for Islamabad Police and the nation as a whole.
Following his return, Inspector General Islamabad Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi personally invited Ali Nawaz to his office. During the meeting, IG Rizvi commended Nawaz for shining on the international stage and credited him with uplifting the reputation of both Pakistan and Islamabad Police. “Islamabad Police is proud of its brave and talented personnel,” IG Rizvi said, acknowledging Nawaz’s dedication and exceptional performance.
