PFUJ President Afzal But, NPC Leadership Host Gujranwala Press Delegation

Islamabad: A delegation from the Gujranwala Press Club visited the National Press Club in Islamabad, where they were warmly received by senior figures from Pakistan’s journalistic community. The visit was marked by discussions on media unity, freedom of the press, and the strengthening of inter-club relationships across regions.
The delegation was welcomed by President of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) Afzal Butt, President of the National Press Club (NPC) Azhar Jatoi, NPC Secretary Nayyar Ali, former NPC President Anwar Raza, President of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ) Tariq Ali Work, NPC Joint Secretary Javed Bhagat, Governing Body Member Aamir Butt, and senior journalist Naeem Mehmood, among others.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the exchange of ideas, concerns, and proposals for enhancing journalistic collaboration at both local and national levels. The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to press freedom, professional solidarity, and mutual support in facing the challenges currently confronting the media industry in Pakistan.
