Senate’s Role Highlighted in Meeting with Political Adviser

Acting Senate Chairman Syedal Khan met with Rana Sanaullah, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, to discuss the nation’s current political, economic, and parliamentary climate. Both leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration and ongoing consultation among all stakeholders for the country’s development, stability, and the strengthening of democratic institutions.

During the meeting, held at Mr. Sanaullah’s office, a detailed exchange was held about the prevailing situation in the country, with particular attention to parliamentary matters following the recent Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Acting Chairman Khan highlighted the pivotal role of the Senate as a guarantor of equal representation for all federating units of Pakistan, noting that the upper house amplifies the voices of all provinces in an effective manner.

He further stressed that the Senate is actively contributing to robust and comprehensive legislation, ensuring that all citizens are provided with equal rights and opportunities.
