Young Innovators Program Inspires Students in STEM and Entrepreneurship

The Young Innovators Program (YIP) is providing school students with hands-on exposure to cutting-edge advancements in science, technology, and entrepreneurship, aiming to spark curiosity and foster real-world problem-solving skills. The latest YIP session, part of the National Youth STEM Exposure Program, welcomed more than 50 O/A Level students from Beaconhouse, Lahore Grammar School (LGS), and Fazaia school systems for an immersive experience at the National Science and Technology Park (NSTP).
During the session, students participated in startup showcases and interactive demonstrations, connecting with the latest trends shaping the future of science and innovation. The program spotlighted solutions driven by Web 3.0, artificial intelligence (AI), and decentralized healthcare technologies. Rija Zahid from Vyro introduced students to “Imgine,” a sophisticated AI image processing tool, providing insights into how AI is transforming visual data analysis. Additionally, Muzna Khan from EMRChains led a demonstration on blockchain technology, highlighting its potential to revolutionize medical record management and hospital systems through increased security and efficiency.
The hands-on activities and live presentations allowed students to engage deeply with technological advancements and develop a practical understanding of their real-world applications. Since its inception, the Young Innovators Program has reached more than 500 students from both public and private schools across Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan—a testament to its commitment to inspiring the next generation of innovators.
The session was successfully organized by Humaira Sajjad and Mominah T. from NSTP, continuing the drive to bridge classroom knowledge with future-focused innovation.
