Pak–US Digital Entrepreneurship Highlights Innovation and Collaboration

Najia Ashar, a distinguished alumna of the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) and founder of Global Neighbourhood For Media Innovation (GNMI) in Pakistan and PULSE in the United States, recently hosted a groundbreaking Pak–U.S. Business & Entrepreneurship Conference in Karachi. Supported by a PUAN grant, the event showcased the transformative potential of digital storytelling and cross-border collaboration in strengthening ties between the two nations.

During the conference, Najia Ashar underscored the pivotal role of digital entrepreneurship in advancing commercial relations between Pakistan and the United States. She highlighted how innovative ventures and digital platforms are creating new opportunities for engagement, growth, and partnership across borders.

Representing the U.S. Consulate General Karachi, Anthony Jones, Public Diplomacy Officer, spoke about the growing influence of innovation and economic diplomacy in shaping the future of bilateral relations. He emphasized that initiatives like this conference not only foster economic cooperation but also lay the groundwork for sustainable, people-to-people connections.
