Pakistani Pilgrims Arrive in Madinah as Post-Hajj Operations Commence

A significant number of Pakistani Hajj pilgrims have arrived in Madinah following the completion of their religious rites in Makkah, marking the start of the Post-Hajj phase. This new stage of the pilgrimage process is being managed under the recently established Main Control Office (MCO), which has been set up to facilitate the smooth transition of pilgrims from Makkah to Madinah and their subsequent journey home.

The MCO, operational in coordination with the Pakistan Hajj Mission Madinah, has been strategically established to oversee logistical arrangements during the Post-Hajj period. Sahib zada, Coordinator Madinah, confirmed the office’s prompt establishment under the guidance of Director Hajj Madinah, Zia Ur Rehman. He highlighted that the office is fully functional and equipped with dedicated sections, including Lost & Found, Complaint Cell, Airport Team, and other support services, operating round the clock across two shifts.

The primary responsibilities of the MCO include managing accommodations, food provisions, transportation, and other essential logistical support for the pilgrims during their stay in Madinah. This comprehensive approach aims to ensure that the pilgrims experience a seamless and comfortable transition before their departure back to Pakistan.

To date, approximately 21,700 Pakistani pilgrims have departed from Madinah to their home country, with the remaining pilgrims expected to leave in the coming days. The MCO continues to oversee their arrangements diligently, ensuring all necessary protocols are being followed and that the pilgrims’ journey back is smooth and well-organized.

Authorities have praised the collaborative efforts of Saudi officials and the Pakistani Hajj Mission staff in Madinah, citing their effective coordination and dedication in managing the large influx of pilgrims during this critical phase of the pilgrimage. The successful operation underscores the strong bilateral cooperation and commitment to providing a dignified and organized Hajj experience for Pakistani pilgrims.
